"Your garment did not wear out from upon you." Deuteronomy 8:4
Yahveh performed many miracles for the Israelites throughout their forty years stay in the desert. One of
these was the fact that their garments didn't wear out the entire time. Not only didn't they wear out, they grew in size along
with the people as they grew. The same was with their shoes, which remained fresh and complete.
As we grow and mature, so does our understanding of Torah, just as the garments which were worn by the Children
of Israel who came out of Egypt miraculously grew with them. If we do not pursue the study of Torah, our ability to understand
it deteriorates. "Use it or lose it." This is the lesson we should learn from the miracle of the freshness and durability
of the clothing of the Children of Israel in the wilderness.
