"And now Israel, what does Yahveh your Elohim ask from you."
Deuteronomy 10:12
The Rabbis taught that a person should view himself as someone hired out to work for another person for
a specific period of time. When such a person completes his task he approaches the employer and asks, "What should I
do next?" This should be our attitude in relationship to Yah. When you finish one assignment you should immediately look for
opportunities to do another one.
"Be ready in season and out of season."
This attitude can be seen in the verse "And now Israel." At every present moment ask yourself the question, "What can
I do now? What does Yahveh ask of me at this present time."
To develop this attitude we need to appreciate the great value and beauty in doing Yahveh's will. If you love Him
you will eagerly ask, "What can I do for you now."
